Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

paceman said   I don't know if you've updated your code but the only link I've seen on this thread is on page 10, i.e. the edited post on "27 August 2015 at 12:37am". I'm currently using that but there are a some bugs in it.

Oh yeah, I did upload my test code then.
Could not remember, and as this thread is such a beast now.......

What bugs did you find?
I am only casually interested, as I too will probably be using Jean's code once that is ready, and my test code was just that - a test code, but I am interested in what you found, as it seemed to work OK for me - albeit as inefficient a code as it is!

We drove to Berry (NSW Sth coast) yesterday Grogs, nine hours , so I can't get you the details till we get back to Melbourne next Wednesday. I can't test Jean's code till then either.

Hey, what happened next?!

Having been absent from the forum for a couple of years, I have been attempting to catch up with copious back reading.

There have been some fascinating subjects, including this one but having followed this thread through all its 22 pages, I find myself left at the precipice, wondering what transpired from that point. Did Grogster progress beyond his "test" code, did Jean resolve his remaining matrix issues, etc etc?

Only if MicroBlocks is a tall honey-blonde with blue eyes.

The test code I wrote works fine as-is, but MicroBlocks pretty much rewrote it to make it much more efficient etc, as you would know, having read the thread. And you are right - its a big thread.

If you have any specific questions that are not answered, please do post them, and we will do our best to fill you in on any other details.

Well.... I am honey-blonde (ok grey now) ) with blue eyes.
But already married with two kids.

I unfortunately did not get the pcb to work first time (and after some testing).
Then lots of other things needed my attention.
Still it is a pretty good idea, and when i have time i will continue to work on it.

Time to go back to the IF/THEN method then.

Joking aside, that's a shame it did not want to work.
I know all about other things diverting your attention.
That's probably why I never posted again on this thread till one of our newbies woke the thread up again.

All understood, thanks both Grogster and MicroBlocks. I'm sure that once circumstances allow, your now thoroughly intrigued legion of readers will rejoice in the resumption of the saga
