Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Matherp,

Have you tried the uart (S0 = 0, S1 = 1) interface on the BNO055 borads?

I have an application on some agricultural equipment where the sensor would be about 5m from the mite. Do you think it would work?

No - sorry. It seems to transmit in non-ascii so I didn't get round to trying to decode it

5m on I2C can be OK. I would set the speed down fairly low and use 1K2 pullups

Paul.

Not sure if this helps or not.

Did you use the OPTION command to set display buffering
'Set up the display using the new buffered driver
OPTION LCDPANEL SSD1963_4_16_buff, L, RDpin
It was in the details of Peters Post, but given it was a long post I thought it was easy to overlook.

Hope it helps.

If not the seemingly tireless Matherp will surely come to the rescue.

The excitement of that great application to have a play with from Matherp hid the obvious.

Yes, he is amazing. Now I have the Attitude Indicator, probably less than $100.
I just need another $250,000 or so for a plane and flying lessons.

Isn't that what the sprites and scrolling background extensions on the MMX were for... so you could write your own plane simulator
