Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

BigMik--don't think you're alone there.

I've always said that my desk is the battleground between order and chaos, and while it looks like chaos has the upper hand, order will win out in the end (but not on the desk itself).

Nice photos so far, chums. Keep them coming.

You know what they say: The messier the workbench, the better the work.
Therefore, those with the messiest workbenches do the best work!

Well I thought I was going to have to do a couple of days tidying up, but seems I am not alone with the state of my workspace, so here it is. None of this was here when I got my first nano-mite off Mick about 3 years ago.

Maybe we should include an unfinished project count.
Mine is about 10 I reckon.

Are the pics all upside down because you are on the other side of our planet?

Quazee,

Just because you're in the other hemisphere from Australia you don't have to post your pictures upside-down for our down-under friends to see (I don't think...)

Just joking, anyway I'll show you mine if I can dig deep enough down on the bench to find the camera. Now where is that thing.......

Well that explains why his is messy, everything keeps falling off the table and landing on the ceiling LOL
Wish I had some pics of my old workshop, at present its a bit of cardboard on my bed (staying at my sisters place) so nothing really to photograph unless you want a pic of my soldering iron on the floor and my workbench' ie an old carboard box from bunnings- for those 'really' interested- the box used to contain rolls of whipper snipper cord...
All the rest is in storage, and I miss it....

There are a couple of workbenches in here somewhere!

Need a bigger shed, or a few trips to the tip.

This is my CMM work Table. Has had a clean up. Lid off the CMM & also an expansion unit while I am playing around. Main display at the top LHS but also sending some test data to the laptop.

6:33 AM PDT Monday April 9, 2018 35 F 2 C and clear

I really enjoy seeing your benches. So I decided to share. I'm not as specialized or experienced with electronics or computers as most of you, but I do have many interests. My lab has six work stations or counters for various undertakings. Here are four.

Electronics and Solder Bench

Office Corner

Take Apart Counter. Note the close by trash bin for extra parts and projects not deemed worthy for reassembly.

Lab Glass and Plant Oil Extraction. I also distill water for Colloidal Silver production and Ethanol to clean laboratory glass. Tasty too!

I would like to see more of everyone's pictures if you're all willing to share more.

Wow, that is a full scale lab you have there, Peter!
I too am interested in seeing anyone's benches.
Keep them coming!
