Andrew, glad it got sorted out. Last thing I would have thought of would have been a firmware update. I'm still having USB problems with my new SC +64. Maybe I should try doing the same thing. Thanks also to all as well. ChopperP |

After the problems you described I decided to make sure the MicroSD card slot on my MM+ LCD Packpack was working as I had not bothered to test it. All is good, so helping you helped me make sure my hardware worked. |

Earlier versions of MMBasic for the MM+ did not do file transfers by XMODEM. It only transferred the currently loaded program. I added the MM+ to the devices that could do file transfer once that option became available. If you use the wrong syntax file in MMEdit, MMEdit will make the wrong assumption and you will get the behavior observed. On my last count, there were 8 different platforms, each with multiple versions on MMBasic and MMEdit can't keep up. Jim VK7JH MMedit |

Hi Jim. We are all in awe of what you have achieved with MMEdit and fully appreciate how hard it is to keep track of so many variants etc. My SD issue was not MMEdit's doing (it was exactly the same with TeraTerm - which I must admit took me a while to fire up and test my setup as it has been so long since I used it last). Thanks again for your support. Andrew |

When I checked mine with a 32G card, it didn't work. Found a small short ..oops. Fixed that. Still didn't work. Tried an 8G card. That worked. Another 32G card also worked. Deleted the stuff on the original 32G card & that now appears to work ok. (it was full) It's a pity the SD cards can't be remove & reinserted without stopping or crashing the program. With my CMM, I have flags for the SD card Read & Write routines so that if I do want to remove the SD card , I set the flags so no access occurs & then reset the flags when reinserted. Saves stopping the program to do files transfers etc. ChopperP |
