Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I've run a Pi-Z-W with wifi and camera and a few things attached with a 1000mA charger, and even a 750mA charger, but have found that it fails with less, and would expect it to fail again with enough additional power-drawing stuff attached.

Glad you got a good start on it at last.

Just tried it with a car USB charger that will run an ipad, and I have the same problem. I thought it may be the fact that I'm using a monitor with a HDMI to VGA adapter. Tried using a TV with HDMI input and got nothing.

Problem solved. Tried the TV again and all is OK, maybe HDMI cable not pushed all the way in. So now to build my Picromite.
I am using the Pi at the moment to type this.
