Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

@Phil23

Apologies for my late reply to your late reply!
I am using the "1D" version, which has the PIC'1455 USB interface to the PIC'470. Neither has the ICSP headers soldered (I purchased the boards pre-assembled - for a small quantity this was far cheaper than ordering components and assembling myself). A few on-board things I won't use, and a few things that I have to put on myself, but overall getting them pre-assembled is a worthwhile endeavour.

in that case you should be able to recover by doing the following:

1. attach the USB cable from the 1455 to your PC, and run your favourite terminal emulator with the baud rate set to 38400,
2. in your terminal emulator press and hold shift-1 to achieve a continuous string of "!" characters being sent out to the MX470 via the 1455,
3. press the "select mode" button near the 1455 and hold down for 2 seconds - the mode LED should light up when the button is first pressed, then go out after the button has been held for a couple of seconds, at which point you can release the button,
4. a few seconds later your M100 should be reset and an appropriate message should appear in the terminal emulator.

you can also upgrade the micromite firmware via the 1455 using pic32prog, a win32 console program. there is a gui called "P32P GUI.exe" that you can use to drive pic32prog, available here:
