@WW Hi Phil, great to hear you are still alive and well! ![]() I emailed you over your website. But unfortunately I still got no answer yet. ![]() I wanted to know, how much are the shipping costs to germany. There are two options: and I need to know how much it costs before I will order. I think the answer could also valuable for all TBS-Members. Best regards Michael causality ≠correlation ≠coincidence |

Hi Michael, For the CMM2, the cost shown on the website is close enough to what Royal Mail charge me bearing in mind the size, weight, and value of the package. The ‘Request Shipping Options email’ is for situations where low cost carts don’t warrant a Tracked&Signed service (or the parcel is small, or is lightweight). Automating global postal costs for the many different items we stock is near impossible. So the ‘Request’ option allows me to calculate a true cost based on size, value, weight, and destination of the parcel. For UK residents I use Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service as this insured the CMM2 for the full amount (and the CMM2 falls within the size and weight limits of the service). For overseas shipments, it really is a lot more complex. So for most shipments to European countries, the cost is about £14.05 Hope this kind of helps!! |

Hi Phil, yes that helps. That means all customers exept from UK have to pay £14.06. I just ordered a CMM2 but I was too enhusiastic and did not click on the "International Delivery" option. I accidentally paid only the £85.-. ![]() Therefore I have to wait for the Shipping-Options' Email. I'm so sorry! Edited 2020-07-18 05:16 by twofingers causality ≠correlation ≠coincidence |

Not quite - UK customers get shown the Special Delivery rate at the checkout, and non-UK customers get shown the Traced & Fully Insured rate. Which option gets shown is based on their shipping address (Country). Thanks for your order, whenever you’re ready, simply use the Donate button on the Home page to pay your £14.06 shipping fee!!! Hi, Phil. Maybe, whenever you find time to look at the forum and this thread and to write some words, you may ease the pain of us waiting and tell us the Order Number you are currently processing and maybe even a rough number of machines you get out of the door every day. This would allow us to calculate a timeframe what we have to expect. Thanks and happy soldering Boris |

Im still waiting for mine to be dispatched from micromite.org. No news yet. I ended up buying all the parts and made my own for about the same cost as the assembled board. It's working fine and I'm finally able to work on my project Still, looking forward to getting the assembled unit, whenever that is lol |

Sorry, but I have to ask again for infos from people who have sucessfully ordered from micromite.org... My order went from "processing" to "completed" on the Website in the middle of last week, I got an eMail that my order is "finished processing". Is this the last status and does that mean that it is shipped also or will there be a another step later on? I did expect to get a Tracking Number, as international deliveries were explicitly offerend "insured and trackable". It is not that I cannot wait (well, yes, that too) but my main problem is that I have to leave for an unplanned journey on August 9th, and I would really like to know if I early have to find someone caring about parcels that have to be fetched from some Pickup-Shop before the whole thing is sent back. If "completed" means "sent out" I do have quite a chance to get it time... so, will there be another mail with a tracking number or how is that handled? Does anybody know? Thanks in advance Boris |

I contacted them on their web site and asked for tracking info and was promptly sent a lovely picture of my package at the post at the moment it was going into the hands of the worker. First time I ever got that service. I just read the tracking number in the picture and went to the royal mail site and started tracking and it liked me to USPS tracking and I setup email notification on it from there. I am ACTUALLY GETTING IT TODAY!!!!!!! a day early! huzzah!!! |

Hi Boris, I ordered mine ca. 3-4 weeks ago from UK to Sweden. It was in back order, but Phil had a lot to do since it's very popular (and he can explain the other details he told me in mail himself, I'm not disclosing personal info here). Other than that, it didn't take more than 1 week to arrive, mangled to pieces by our fantastic (ironic) postal services in Sweden, but the box itself was unharmed, thankfully. I followed the tracking number frantically during that week, like a child at christmas trying to "open" the packages and carefully glue it back together again, but it was in status "In Transit" all the time, until it actually arrived, so tracking does nothing for you at all. From China however, it's easy to follow the tracking, then it's "Arrived at Shenzhen postal office. In customs, At airport, On plane towards sweden, arrived at sorting station, customs, in transit to Pick Up Point, Delivered". UK can learn from that. Thank's Phil, I guess I was lucky to have it in 3-4 weeks ;) didn't actually expect it any faster anyway, but when you wait for something THIS GOOD - we become impatient. |

Did you order it on micromite.org? if so, did you order the DIY kit or the fully Assembled unit? and finally, what was the date of your order? Cheers. |

Oh boy.... Mine arrived today and I am happy like a little boy on christmas. What a wonderful little machine. Phil sent it to me not only with the latest Beta-Firmware installed (at time of assembly) but with a free battery also, so that I was able to boot it up right away. Had it updated and tested a little bit, and now it´s playing Stardust Memory Mod while I´m writing this. Thanks Phil for sending the machine to me. And MANY THANKS to Geoff and Peter for making the whole thing. It`s so much fun right away. And now... to work. I had a lot of time while waiting and did use it. When I programmed with AMOS in the early 90s I just started whithout having a real plan. So my code ended as a complete mess. Later I learned to program for a living... Datenverarbeitungskaufmann, we called my job here in Germany. Progamming for a big Department Store in COBOL on an IBM Mainframe. Boring as heck, but I had to learn what a Nassi Shneidermann Diagram is. Very early I stopped programming and became a Windows Administrator, but while waiting for the CMM2 I remebered what I had learned and now have a complete Diagram ready for a CMM2 Version of Berzerk (which was one of my first own Videogames on Verctrex in the early 80s). I hope I will find some time in the next weeks to make a fine MMBasic Version out of it. Can`t wait. Thanks again to all and have fun as I do. Greetings Boris Edited 2020-07-31 04:26 by realbobele |

My problem is that I ordered mine on the 6/7 and live in the U.K. but I chose 'shipping option email'. Tried contacting them but as they are so busy I figure they haven't had time to deal with me. So I have no idea if they will post my maximite to me since I have yet to pay postage but I have paid for the maximite. Don't want to cancel my order as that would put me at the back of the queue but after nearly a month there is no word on my delivery. I didn't make an account with the micromite.org site so I can't even check on my status. |

If not, I would suggest doing so, as I'm 50% positive that you gave your email in when you ordered, so it *SHOULD* have your order logged to your email address. So sign up with your email you would have used when ordering, and see if its there. |

Sucks :/ Sorry. I assume you have the confirmation email though right? Use the contact page on the site and email again. I'm sure they'll see it and respond sooner rather than later. |

Yes the conformation email is all I have. I tried emailing them about how long it would take (this was before they put the three week delay message on their site) and used the contact page later to ask about the postage but didn't hear anything back off either. Don't want to hassle them too much since it looks like they have their hands full. I'm presuming it's a matter of time but seeing people who ordered after me getting theirs it's a bit worrying so posted on here as another point of contact. Somethings gotta work. |

I would imagine that you'll hear something very soon. Don't be afraid to contact them again... after all, you're a paying customer. No need to be worried though. They are 100% genuine. Just got a lot of work to do haha (which is a good thing.. more people wanting CMM2 is always a good thing!) |
