+1 for Annex. Slower than MMBasic on any device (at least the 8266, haven't used the ESP32 version much), but makes some tasks easier. I like the "push" feature for updating HTML sensor values without user intervention.

I'm able to turn on a heater in my barn man-cave with my phone, but it's more complicated than it would be with Annex--phone to little router running the openWrt lenux distro to picaxe.
