I tried a normal load and failed. Next I tried option reset , var clear and failed. Next I tried the above and added remove battery The final procedure that did work: option reset var clear power down remove battery wait a few minutes load firmware reconfigure kb etc load my options. - this caused a need to reenter some of the initial cold start settings (but not all) Eventually, I had exp2 with my options set. It was only then that I set option maxctrls I don't remember when I reinserted the battery so that might explain the need to reenter some settings a few times. Jim VK7JH MMedit |
