Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I downloaded that to my Android tablet some time ago and my first impression was not good. How do you use it? Documentation? Horrible editor? Am I missing something?

BBC basic is nice, and in it's time it was a marvel. Running on an ARM core it is still unbeatable. But MMBasic as we know it now is superior in commands, functions, variables. Geoff and Peter, thank you.

Right, but did it support networking with wifi? For curiosity's sake, what device, what flavor Linux?

(I really haven't looked at anything tiny other than for running openWrt, and for that, nothing smaller than 8MB flash is now recommended).

Try on RPi or Windows or Linux or (now) Pico .
I seem to remember the Android experience not
to fondly. I use it for it's musical abilities
(which far eclipse any other Basic)
