We've noticed your love of strip board. :) Had you noticed that it's cheaper to get five 100x100mm PCBs from JLCPCB than it is to buy the same area of strip board? I was surprised when I found that. I prefer the approach of creating a board that can be reconfigured to do different things. e.g. have either a VGA connector or a LCD connector, have SD or micro SD. my vga picomite is still on stripboard as it's not permanent, takes up too much space and I use the lcd boards more so they're soldered for stability. Pcbs are permanent, can't add stuff or adapt them. ![]() |
