Me too. Once I found that I could use DHCP and also assign addresses on the router I stopped using them altogether. Mind you, I'm disorganised and I kept losing my list of statics.... :(

Ah, so what you can do is take Peter's code (with the Pico SDK etc), make the changes yourself and use that.

To make it easier to track future changes, before you change anything you might like to put all the code into a software version management suite (e.g. git but there are others).
