My self-built DREAM 6802 came into being during my training as a TO for DOT, in 1980. Yes, it taught me heaps about what my job became. I managed to do an upgrade later, on a 6800 based radar PPI.

I'm about to dust it off, to use it to program an EEPROM (58c66 - 8K x 8) as a system PROM for a home brew 6809.

BTW, cache memory devices from '486's were in some cases a 64K x 8 static RAM devices - very handy for 68xx's.
