Hi Lou, All,

  Lou said
Maybe you or someone already in business (like Mick) would be interested in helping.

I am NOT really in business, I am just a hobbyist as are most people here..

My problem is I am now in the busy time of my working year (Melbourne Spring Racing Carnival) and am working about 12-14hrs per day 6 days a week and have no time to put towards this task.. If no one else volunteers I suppose I `could' order them and reship to USA later when time permits...

Postage charges in Australia must be one of the dearest in the world.. I just did an online estimate of 4 modules and an `up to 1kg' package and the rate is $33.85 to the USA..

Also do not forget to buy locally the prices have to be GST added (an extra 10%) then whoever gets them in the US has to reship 3 of them..

The costs will add up.. but I understand may still be cheaper than locally sourced..

I am, unfortunately, not really able (due to time constraints), to attempt this at this time.

Kind Regards,

Mick

Hello all.
Mick - completely understood (although I live in Melbourne I can't see why all the excitement about a certain horse race on the first Tuesday in November - but each to his/her own).

If no one else elbows me out of the way I'm happy to buy a smallish batch and send them on to the US. I'd need someone to agree to receive them and distribute in US and pay me in Au$ in due course.

Having just ordered one it was Au$63.83 (including our GST and $zero postage to me here). So it would be that each plus postage to US (any import charges?).

If you can confirm how many you want and where to send them I can order them any time.

So far it looks like:
Lou = 4
Gerald = 1
Total (for now) = 5

Cheers,

Andrew

Bearing in mind that there will be a slight delay until they are again in stock here.

Yes Bill, as of a few minutes ago they are saying my one, ordered this morning, is expected to be delivered on 16 October. No idea whether that is when the 500 come in or whether each order takes 2 weeks (their standard is 6 to 10 working days).
Cheers, Andrew

Thanks Andrew,

I could go for 4 units, me and Zonker live near enough to each other to hand deliver and I could ship one to Gerald here in the US.

I will pay up front for the units and shipping if you really want to do it, if you don't no big deal.

Sorry Mick I didn't mean to put pressure on you. You have so many nice boards on your site I thought you were more on the business side, and I do appreciate the offer.

Thanks,

Lou

Thanks Lou.
Gerald are you "in".

Any other takers in the US had better let Lou and myself know ASAP.

I'll wait say until Monday morning (Aus) and order 5, for the US.
Cheers,

Andrew

I have just received emailed advice that my Bitscope was dispatched to me today, suggesting that fresh supplies arrived earlier than anticipated?

Hi all - I ordered six on Sunday (48 hours ago) and three arrived this morning. The other three are due on 18th October.
Lou and Gerald - I assume you are happy to wait to the 18th so I can ship them all at once?
Cheers,

Andrew

Would appreciate any user reviews from TBSers on these Bitscopes.

Also might be nice if someone could post a photo of one showing the size.

Sometimes better than the stock photos which can be jazzed up to look better than in real life.

20mm by 120mm
Not very robust but fits in the laptop case easily.

I haven't done anything useful with it yet but appears to work as advertised.
