Mike, thanks for sharing the code. I've only had the chance for a quick look but it is well commented so I should be able to follow it - most helpful. A couple of questions: - what size is the screen? (I'm hoping to use an LCD backpack (2.8", 320 x 240)) - I see that you show 8 wind headings - are not 16 available from the sensor? Hi Andrew you are correct but I believe I settled on the 8 headings in the end as I found it far more reliable than trying to decipher the 16, also lets face it quite adequate for a home system. I have copious readings in my project notes from a couple of years back when I was testing an I believe that I found the range was just not well determined enough (or linear) especially also as the micromite was a 3.3v device and the product notes see here were based on a 5v supply. You will notice also in the code I smoothed out the results quite a bit as well to remove the erratic tendencies. The screen is a 7" LCD running on a MX470 , the photo only showed a portion.
