Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

This is part of a sci-fi short, made by the Future of Life Institute. The full video is called "slaughterbots". It's actually part of a propaganda campaign against the use of AI in military weapons. Check out the swarm shaped like a swastika at 3:03, "they flew in through the wondows but attacked just one side of the isle" 3:16 - the agenda markers are all there.

watched the first minute or so and noticed two things (hidden by clever editing)

1. the drone landed upside down in the compaire's hand (props to the palm
2. the drone was attached to the forehead of the dummy and something exploded and threw it off - watch in slow speed -the scene cuts to the dummy precisely at the moment of explosion... almost. There are a few frames showing a stationary drone stuck to the forehead then it is thrown away by a charge (which clearly erupts from the forehead - not back-blast (1:22)... hint: drop the speed to 25% then hold your finger on the space bar to make it even slower.

Stuff like this? One day, but not today... still fancy my chances against them with my Remington on half choke Edited by CaptainBoing 2019-07-09
