Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

I just got mine today from Rictech. I ordered on July 2nd, I was notified it has shipped on July 29th, so it took 7days to ship from NZ to my doorstep in Texas.

I ordered mine on July 2nd as well. They shipped mine on the 24th and I received it on 8/3 so 10 days for me.

WhiteWizzard said  Also note that the more people who email me asking ‘where is my order?’, then the more time I am not despatching orders. So I am generally ignoring emails so that I can get more shipments despatched.

A suggestion here is to set up an auto-reply for emails so that your customers get a "standard reply" explaining the situation. It's very easy to set up and would be very helpful.
Not getting a reply to email can lead to customers wondering if you're still in business.

Just email him. At the end of the day, at least then you can say you've done your part.

I am beginning to wonder just how many have been sold at this point... I mean, are we in the 1 thousands? 10 thousands? 100 thousands? MORE? I'd love to know..

I would guess - in terms of actual tangibles to users - at maybe a few dozen max. Any "mass market" in IT has moved to the cloud way back.

yeah, it can't be more than a hundred and fifty of us in the whole world who have them and half of those received them in the last week. Maybe another hundred waiting?

I ordered my kit on 1st July and received it at the end of last week. I expect yours shouldn't be too far behind.

Very happy with what I received, it was worth the wait.

I also received the three (combined) spiral bound guides from doxdirect on the same day, which I'd highly recommended. Far more comfortable than reading them on screen in my opinion.

I ordered mine on Aug, 3rd. (Micromite.org / UK)
When I calculate 3 weeks backorder it could arrive end of this month, maybe beginning of September.
It is a good opportunity for me to read the manuals and avoid - when I ask questions here in the future - receiving too many answers like: "RTFM"

And while you wouldn't have access to the graphics, you can always have a play with program structures and the like with MMBasic DOS (assuming you have Windows available).

The Windows version will not help much. I started with a submarine hunter game and I need graphics.
Source code will be/is on github.

Hi,

it is 4 weeks ago now, when I ordered and paid the CMM2 at "micromite.org" from Germany. I already sent an email to get info on the status of my order. But unfortunately I didnt got an answer.

Does anyone know whats up or if I should just keep waiting?

- Greetings

He told me after the "plug" CMM2 got from that 8-bit guy, he received more orders than anticipated, I was a bit impatient myself, but received mine after 3 weeks.

My "guess" is that he's literally drowning in orders (which is a good thing) but hard to manage if you're a 1 man company.

I received word that mine was going to ship the next day after six weeks of waiting.  I emailed Micromite.org twice about the status.  He said that they have been swamped with orders.
