That is not necessary. When the MM goes into sleep the CPU clock is completely stopped, so its non sleep running frequency has no relevance. Geoff Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |

I noticed that but chocked it up to a misinterpretation of an earlier suggestion or just a mistake in expressing the clock slow down. At any rate, the suggestion given was that the 5 MHz clock be activated after the one-wire temp reading is made which is what Andrew will try. Hank |

Hi, my MM170/HC-12 remote finally died after 4 weeks. The final AA voltages were 2x 1.46 (2.92v). (I will do the above measurements ASAP but have a few distractions at present). Andrew |

Hi Andrew, As you are using an MM170 you might be interested in monitoring the battery level by reading the internal reference value. This was removed from MMBASIC but the post below gives a CFunction that can use it. Reading internal reference Gerry F4 H7FotSF4xGT |

Gerry, Thanks! That means I could read the remote unit's voltage and report it say once a day? & ! Another feature to try, cheers, Andrew |

The final AA voltages were 2x 1.46 (2.92v). Andrew The above shutdown was solely due to reaching the HC-12 lower voltage limit of just under 3 volts typically. |
