RPi: "Can be programmed in C or µpython" I wish to heck that they would acknowledge this amazing development. ![]() |

It can also be programmed in Rust if you prefer. Apparently it runs nicely using both the ARM and Hazard3 compilers. :) Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |

So, have I got this right ? There are two versions A and B. A (70 pin) has a set of two cores and is available as a Pico 2 board etc. B (80 pin) has the two cores but also a set of two RISC-V cores. If the A version 12-bit AD is only 9.2 bits effective, I doubt that the B version will be better, maybe worse as there may be more noise. |

All versions of the RP2350x have the same, identical core chip. There are no differences. The type A 60-pin has 30 IO brought out, 4 ADC channels The type B 80-pin has 48 IO brought out, 8-ADC channels Also, there are the RP2354x packages. These are identical to the above but also have a 2MB flash chip internally, bond-wired in. This replaces the normal external flash chip. The ADC has yet to be proven, I think. Supposedly the silicon now works as specified. It could be that all degraded performance could be the result of poor noise performance because of the switcher and/or an instable reference supply. I wouldn't knock it yet. @Peter I saw it mentioned in a blog, but I think he was referring to the Errata section of the Datasheet. Page 1339. RP2350-E3. This looks like it might be the one. I'm part way there. I have a SL6 macro for the PGA2350 now. :) No way are JLCPCB going to silk screen that pin text though. I hadn't realized how big HDMI breakout boards seem to be either! . I feel swindled! GP47 is ADC7, but it's also the chip select for the external PSRAM. I only realized it *after* I'd used it for audio output as well. :) Mick Zilog Inside! nascom.info for Nascom & Gemini Preliminary MMBasic docs & my PCB designs |

Pleased to confirm the M33 core now has the grunt to real-time decode mp3 files even at 133MHz so that functionality will be added to MMBasic like the CMM2 Edited 2024-08-23 22:14 by matherp |
