Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

G'day Andrew,
AFAIK there is no separate manual as such for the Pico Computer 3, although I too seem to remember something being available but alas cannot find anything.

In reality, it is an all in one board running an RP2350B and whichever flavour of MMBasic we load onto it, so apart from cleverly setting the options up by itself, the standard MMBasic manual applies as much to it as any other.

The examples in the MMBasic manual should all be applicable.

The main things that have caught me (and perhaps others) out are:

Serial Console is CH340 TTL-USB and TERA-TERM etc needs to be set for 115200-8-N-1.
Serial console is on USB3 port near power switch.
USB-Micro port is FIRMWARE UPDATE only.
Heartbeat LED is enabled via jumper near WIFI module.
USB mouse will work more often with OPTION MOUSE SENSITIVITY 1.
(option mouse sensitivity doesn't seem to be remembered with option disk save / load)

Suitable firmware is:
PicoMiteHDMIUSB
PicoMiteHDMIWEB

To upload new firmware:
Power off / unplug PC3 board.
Move USB-HUB slide switch to DISABLE.
Plug programming cable into USB-Micro port near SD Card slot.
Hold down BOOT button on PC3 board.
Plug USB programming cable into PC.
Release BOOT button on PC3 board.
Drag "Clear_Flash_Universal.uf2" onto "RP2350" drive that appears.
Drag firmware of choice onto "RP2350" drive when it re-appears.
Wait for completion of transfer.
Unplug programming cable.
Move USB-HUB slide switch to ENABLE.
Plug USB3 cable into USB3 port near power switch.
Switch power on.
Connect terminal via CH340 serial port at 115200-8-N-1.
Check options are correct.
Set resolution as desired.
Test out all the latest MMBasic goodness from Peter.

Thankyou for the offer on the PC3 board, I would be happy to help cover a part of the international freight cost as well.

I am out near Whittlesea just north of Melbourne so at least not too far away.

PM on its way shortly.

Regards, Lyle.
