Here is a PNG image of playing cards sized to fit nicely on the 800x600 screen. The original image is from here. I reshaped things a bit and messed with the colour black so that cards would display as sprites without transparent holes. I may need to re-render the images though with less anti-aliasing, because they are kinda blurry.

I've included a short demo to display the cards.

Maybe someone wants to have a go at writing a Solitaire program so that we won't get any more development work done.

I've got Civilization (the Loki Linux version) for that. :)
