Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

see attached:

GFXterm32 and GFXterm64 (2021-09-27).zip

GFXterm source (2021-09-27) inc XModem support.zip

XModem support is accessed by pressing F11 ("load") or F12 ("save") at the MMbasic command prompt. the process is pretty much fully automated, i've tested it works with both an MX170 and a Pico.

as before, please test, test, test. and if anyone wishes, feel free to upload a build for RPi or macOS. or even better, finish off making the win32 build fully functional!

cheers,

Nice to see the final line "cleaned up" when using xmodem for text files - NO spurious NULL characters!

Edit: Added Shortcut-keys pdf file to zip file, removed binary file comment.

small(ish) update:

GFXterm32 (2021-10-08).zip

GFXterm64 (2021-10-08).zip

assuming i've got the right files in the zip archives, changes include:

- a fix for problems with pasting into the micromite's editor for older versions of MMbasic dating from 2018 and earlier,

- the 'CONNECT...' dialog now shows the serial parameters, default "8-N-1". right-click on this string to change between 7/8 bits, odd/even/no parity, 1/2 stop bits. settings are saved until a fail-to-connection, then revert back to 8-N-1.

- extended range of baud rates, now going up to 4,000,000 baud. these were added as i had need to connect to an android tablet at 921,600.

source code is in the GFXterm for windows thread, linked to here:

led-bloon: are you able to compile for RPi? i did send you a PM a week or so back, but looks like it hasn't been opened.

cheers,
