I have a WIN7 PC connected to an E64. Using the PS2 keyboard all is well but when using the PC keyboard, the direction, F, etc keys return things like [A instead of moving the cursor etc. My WIN7 laptop is good so it is just my PC. I have even tried a different key board. The program runs if I type RUN. The cursor moves if I type Ctrl-X Sadly I have no idea where to start looking. HELP!!!! Peter |

I had issues with the /*-+ on the numeric pad & found I needed to dedefine them in the ini file. Keyboard ini it might have been. Not the main teraterm.ini Phil. |

Have you set a delay between each character in Tera Term? That would cause the problem. Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |

Phil, I think my problem is different but I will think about it. Geof, It comes up with a default of 50ms. I tried 100 but no change. Incidentaly the keys work correctly in other applications, ARDUINO, WORD. Peter |

At 1:30 this morning I decided to re-install Tera Term. I turned over and went back to sleep. But it has fixed the problem. Peter |

Good work. ![]() There must have been something buried in the TT settings there somewhere then.... Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops! |

That would be the problem, it should be zero. Geoff Graham - http://geoffg.net |

Sorry Geoff, I misunderstood your comment and my laptop is set to 0. How did I miss that? Yes, I know old and stupid. Peter |
