Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi Jim,

Just wondering on the Status of the header options & their restoration?

'MMEDIT!!! Basic Version = Micromite_MK2_V5.3
'MMEDIT!!! Port = 192.168.59.185:23:30,150
'MMEDIT!!! Device = Micromite_Plus_V5.3
'MMEDIT!!! Config = 100111100121010001000000000001

I know Syntax & Port are being implemented, wondering about the others.

If I could bump just one to the top of the list it would be
Auto crunch on load.

I'm sure everyone would appreciate that one, as I bet we've all left it set the wrong way from time to time.

Cheers

Phil.

I will have a look at it but it will be a few weeks before there are any updates.

Just speaking as someone who isn't great at programming, I would have to say
Please do not auto crunch on load.
The reason being idiots like me will at times make mistakes such as the computer crashing while editing a program trying to get rid of a bug and not keeping a copy of the changes
It happened to me last week, I made loads of changes to a program and the computer crashed
The only thing that saved me was the ability to save the current program to SD card complete with comments

You can always turn it on & off.

What the options will do is allow it's on/Off state to be saved with the code.

So if you have big code that needs it & it's turned on, when the code is loaded it's turned on; still able to be turned off.

If you save code with it off, next time that code is loaded, it's set to off.

It just allows options to be applied to each file, but still able to be changed.

Cheers.
