I have been keeping this draw of Motherboard, IO cards and peripherals manuals for future reference. The information dates from the mid 1980's through to mid to late 90's including 286,386,486 and Pentium Motherboards, IO cards, Video cards, Modems and other peripherals. The time has come to dispose of the contents and before they are disposed of, I thought I would ask if any shedders were interested in any.

I have a very similar pile....
Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!

Alright Jim, seeing your pile has the most gravity I will have to send my pile in a southerly direction.

Hi Graeme,

Do you have any 'home computer' manuals (typically machines from the early-mid 80s? These will mainly be BASIC machines pre-dating the 286/386 'PCs'.

If so, then let me know what machine(s); I may be interested in any of those for my 'BASIC Museum'!

Cheers.

WW,
What about early versions of BASIC manuals?
I will keep my QuickBasic ones but there are a few others in my pile/library.

Jim,

I am collecting BASIC manuals but only if they relate to a Home Computer.

So things like '101 BASIC Games for the ZX80', 'Advanced Programming on the BBC Micro', 'Tips & Tricks for the Sinclair Spectrum', 'Business applications on the Jupiter Ace'.

OK, the Jupiter Ace was a FORTH machine, but it is also an 'icon' from the Home Computer era. I actually had one, yet lost it in a house move. Today on eBay they can cost over £1,000 Edited by WhiteWizzard 2018-09-11

Hey Graeme - thats exactly the type of thing.

I am interested in the three books lying down; but not the GW manuals!

Let me know what kind of weight/cost shipping will be to UK assuming you're willing to sell these!

Physical paper manuals, or digital copies, too?
