Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi folks,

On my Colour Maximite the 5V line from CON 6 (the 26 pin GPIO) is only supplying 4.7V. Is this to be expected?

The CMM is being powered via USB from a Raspberry Pi 3.

I've tried a couple of USB wall-warts too and with those I only get 4.3 - 4.6V

Regards,

Tom

That sounds about right.

There is a diode in the 5V supply line which will account for the less than 5V you are seeing.
