Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi All,
Is is possible to dim the VGA display (similarly to PWM on LCD's)?
Yes, you can do it on the monitor's controls but I am thinking of using a Light Dependent Resistor, as I do on my LCDs, or via an IR command (as well as keyboard etc).
Cheers,

Andrew

Depending on the display mode you are in,
You could use the MAP command to change the colour intensity.
You would need a number of sets of colour, one for each of the different light levels.
