Hello at all! Is ist possible to change the VGA output pins in the CMM2 firmware? I have two Nucleo H7 boards and cant use VGA on them. The Waveshare board is almost impossible to buy here in germany. Maybe it is possible via an OPTION command. So no special firmware is needed. Would be nice to have this option. If you release the source, i would also try it myself. Thanks! |

The VGA signal is generated by a dedicated graphics processor built into the STM32 chip (called the Chrom-ART graphic accelerator). I don't think there any options to change the pins used. Jim VK7JH MMedit |

No: not enough pins If you can't get a Waveshare contact WhiteWizzard on micromite.org. He can supply a ready to run CMM2 based on the single board design and is UK based so easy shipping |

You mean the wrong pins? ![]() A quick look over the CMM2 schematic shows around 70 used pins on this 176 pin package. so you are wasting most of its pins anyway. ![]() As far as i understood you use the Chrom-Art with the LTDC Controller to generate the VGA signal. Sure this has specified pins on each package but it is avialable on the Nucleo. It seems that most used pins are also avilable on the nucleo. |

If you read the CMM2 thread before posting you would see this isn't the case https://www.thebackshed.com/forum/uploads/panky/2020-05-08_153553_CMM2-GPIO&CPU%20module%20pin%20usage.pdf |
