Jim, One for you perhaps? Using MMEdit with the CMM2 - In the latest MMEdit (13 Jun 20 build), when you do a load and run (the running man), the xmodem transfer works fine creating the temp.bas file on the sd card, however, MMEdit then invokes a LOAD "temp.bas" command which fails as this is an invalid command. Should it perhaps be either RUN or EDIT "temp.bas" ? Doug. ... almost all of the Maximites, the MicromMites, the MM Extremes, the ArmMites, the PicoMite and loving it! |

I've been using MM File Master to move files from the PC to the A drive (& the other way) for the limited stuff I've done so far. Brian ChopperP |

Ah. That is a change that happened during the CMM2 development and I missed it. I usually open the terminal and do a 'load' from there. At present that does a run immediately after load. Will fix in the next day or so. Thanks. Jim VK7JH MMedit |

Jim, I assume there is a good reason for saving file to the A drive as "temp.bas" & not as it's true file name? Just wondering. Brian ChopperP |

Doug, If you have 'auto run on load' selected it should run. It is only if 'auto run on load' is not selected that MMEdit tries to LOAD and causes problems. To fix that, I have to address Brian's question about saving as temp instead of real name. With the Maximite1 you had to transfer via the disk then LOAD Micromite transfer direct to memory. Now we have to transfer to disk but don't have the option to LOAD, just RUN so lots of variations to try and handle. Personally, I prefer to use temp.bas so I know I am not overwriting a good program. I intend to make it an option. If you use MMUploader to transfer files, you do have that option and I intend to use MMUploader as a base for a new 'control centre' as part of MMEdit. Jim VK7JH MMedit |
