I'm wanting to use a MAX232 with a Micromite. For Rx, Com1 feeds a 5V tolerant pin, but for Rx Com2 a NON 5v tolerant pin is used. Will Micromite Com2 Rx go crispy? I know a MAX3232 is available, but I have MAX232 already. Thanks, John B |

Use a resistor divider to reduce the 5V to 3.3V 1.8k and 3.3k is one option. Jim VK7JH MMedit |
