Hi All,

I am wondering if anyone has managed to send emails from MM-DOS?
If so how did you do it?
I have tried running mmbasic from a powershell window and using the system command to set variables Like from here about quarter way down this page. To overcome the string length problem.

For example
system "$PSEmailServer = 'mail......'"
This code sets the variable from the PowerShell command prompt, so it is not a problem with the single quotes.

MM-DOS generates an error
Quote  Command could not be run

Eventually I want to include some graphics in the email so have not considered using an ESP... WiFi module from a mite.

All thoughts welcome

Have you tried putting the command into a batch file?

TassyJim,

Have not tried batch files as I believe they can not be run from powershell. I am battling to get powershell setup to execute its scripts.

Thanks for your reply.
