(Sorry for blank post)Can't make edit work under Firefox.

I am trying to find how to find the cursor position on the screen *within a program* and how to place it in a given position on the monitor.
Senior?!  Whatever it says, I'm a complete and utter beginner...

The cursor will only show if you are waiting for text input.

Thank you TJ. In reply to anyone thinking 'Why doesn't he read the manual?" I searched for locate, position, cursor... but without success. Got it now!

Linux or Mac ?

Firefox 79.0 / Win10x64 edits/posts fine for me.

I'm using firefox under Linux to post & edit without problems.

The cursor is nowhere until you tell it where it is, right? It's wherever you left it.
