Hi  I finally get my CMM2 today , but before i was able to touch my 'Precious' i was asked to pay 32€taxes fees .... I don't know how is going on other country in Europe when something is coming from Australia , but it's like when it come from US in taking longer time to arrives  So then for info i compiled the data of the long way from my CMM2 around the world . Now the total price : A source in Europe will be better to get price down. Cheers. Theory is when we know everything but nothing work ... Practice is when everything work but no one know why ;) |

Umm, there is a source in Europe (at least until we leave at Christmas and civilisation collapses - please send food) www.micromite.org, though I know he has been having some problems recently; hopefully only temporary. It´s just some more money .... for Germany just 19%. ... the bigger problem might be the circumstance probably having to show up at the customs office to pay and receive personally. Sometimes it all goes wrong and you have go hunting for finally getting it.   Andre ... such a GURU? | ||||

I live in Canada and ordered mine from the U.S. It was dispatched on 4th August fron North Dakota (about 1,300 km from me). 4 days later it was in Chicago (2,500 km from me.... but okay, I get that it needs to go through a hub)....7 days after originally being dispatched it made it to Canada! Yay!... or so I thought.... That was 11 days ago. It has been sitting in Canadian customs (300 km from my house) since then. Very frustrating. Note: This is not a reflection on the seller, who was excellent. This is just Canadian customs. |

I had two items shipped to Canada from a U.S. seller. Items shipped the same day from the same place, same type envelope. One arrived after a couple of weeks. My experience was similar. The seller, Circuit Gizmos, was excellent. The US postal service was not. The package completely vanished into the void for almost 3 weeks. The Canadian side of things was relatively quick. Fortunately there were no customs or duty taxes. I would have thought that the USPS would try to get items out of the USA as fast as possible to reduce their handling costs and pass them on to a foreign country. Hi , As i get hardware from waveshare for many years , i know it need between 3 and 5 week to arrive in France. I ordered 2 MCU board one week ago , so now , with the actual trouble , who knows how long it will take  For now , my brand new CCM2 have the smoke into the component , i will take care that it stay so  and wait and see when the 2 other board arrives ...Theory is when we know everything but nothing work ... Thanks VegiPete, that gives me hope that it hasn't vanished altogether! I'm chomping at the bit waiting to get started with this thing. Everyday I'm coming up with new ideas of things I want to program. |

So , it's definitive China is faster than Australia  Order placed the 18/08 at Waveshare , arrived today in France I was sure it will take 3 month with the virus around ... i was wrong ...
