Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hello all

Is there a way to increase the size of the font for *printing out* files in MMEDIT.
Senior?!  Whatever it says, I'm a complete and utter beginner...

No sorry,
It is fixed at Courier New 8 point.
Any bigger and there would be too much line-wrap.

If you want to change the size, use "Save as RTF" and change it in your preferred word processor. That way you have full colour and full control over the layout.

Hi Jim

I did an RTF yesterday for the first time for ages & there was no UPPER case for keywords. Has it always been like that?

Just asking.

Try
Program/Save keyword CASE

There is a difference between displaying keywords in upper case and changing them in the text.
The keyword case is not saved with the text unless forced.
Doing it all the time slows things down too much.

Thanks Jim, that worked.

BTW, you made a comment recently that your brother was a much better programmer than you.

He must be really, really good.

Your work on TBS is much appreciated by all.

TOTALLY agree with that, Brian!

The entire MM platform and series of chips would not be as enjoyable to program, if not for the fantastic MMEDIT.

The built-in editor is awesome for squishing bugs, and then you can copy the fix back across to MMEDIT for the master code, once you have proved that you have indeed squished those nasty bugs.

+1

I totally agree (when I can lay my hands on a Windows machine at work)...
To bad my home computers are all linux.
So I use the build in editor a lot.

That is also why I was not hesitant to look if I can get geany working for the micromites. It would serve me well for myself also. But haven't done any try yet.
I am just too lazy I guess.

Does MMEdit work under WINE / any chance to get MMEdit working under WINE?
