works

mode 5 ' or any # other than 1

gives a blank screen ?

Works fine for me.
Is your monitor syncing successfully?

What if you add "do:loop" so the system doesn't return to the command prompt?

edit: mode 5 pixels look very unsquare - wider than tall.

I ' m assuming the sync ...
Tried a second monitor .... Same
Loop doesn ' t help either ...
Remember .... It ' s hip to be unsquare
