With the PIC32, it's possible to upload the developed code as a complete hex file which is useful for updating a system in the field. Is this possible with the CMM2? |

I'm not sure I understand the question? The firmware update procedure is in Appendix G of the manual. The latest firmware is available for download on this page: https://geoffg.net/maximite.html The firmware is currently in .bin format instead of .hex but it's really the same idea, just a more compressed file format. -Carl |

Are you talking about updating the MMBasic firmware AND your Basic code in one shot? This should be doable via the Cube programming software. Micromites and Maximites! - Beginning Maximite |

Exactamundo! I might have a client who needs a software update and I just want to to send them a binary file. So what exactly would they need? Regards, Craig |

It certainly is on MicroMites, but I thought the CMM2 doesn't actually load your program into flash but rather runs it directly from the SD card(?) Edited 2020-10-11 20:12 by CaptainBoing |
