Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Hi folks,

As an interim fix for compatibility problems between r0.5 and the new firmware I've built this:

Release 0.5.1
- IMPORTANT: requires firmware 5.06.00 or later.
- This is a maintenance release, it contains the same catalogue of
  programs as Release 0.5.
- Updated "Barnsley's Fern using CSUB"
 - recompiled CSUB to run with 5.06.00 firmware.
- Updated "Hunt the Wumpus"
 - fixed bug where control does not return to the Welcome Tape menu.
 - fixed bug where player could start in the non-existent room 0.
- Updated "Lunar Lander" to v7.5
 - handle the fact that HELP is now an MMBasic command.
- Updated "Mandelbrot Explorer" to version 1.4
 - recompiled CSUB to run with 5.06.00 firmware.
 - added incremental speed improvements.
 - added zooming enhancements suggested by @vegipete.
 - added mouse support.
- Updated "Scrolling Text" demo
 - recompiled CSUB (by "jirsoft") to run with 5.06.00 firmware.
- Updated new splash-screen
 - serial console is no longer blank whilst VGA animation playing.
- Updated old splash-screen
 - "sunrise" animation repeats until the user Quits.

Download it from: https://github.com/thwill1000/cmm2-welcome/releases/download/r0.5.1/welcome-r0.5.1.zip

Many thanks to @matherp, @vegipete and @jirsoft for their help in making this release possible, and to all the past contributors for their content.

I'm still working on an r0.6 with added content including 3D API examples.

Best wishes,

Tom
