Has anyone had the verify process fail when updating the firmware for CMM2?
Now I do not receive a video signal.  Tried a different VGA to VGA cable, but
Still no signal.  The power light comes on on the Color Maximite 2 though.
Was using the second method from the back of the user manual.  The download
Part completed, but then the verify part failed.  Was attempting to update to
5.06.00.

Set the BOOT CONFIG switch to "SYSTEM" and try again.
The bootloader will be safe so no disaster.

Using serial instead of USB A-A cable is very slow so there is time for problems.
A USB A-A cable is (very much) the better way to go.

I had it fail when I tried the slow method. It claimed to have lost the USB connection. I had to do as Jim suggested because the software could not recognise the CMM2.

That fixed the issue.  Now have firmware 5.06.00 on the Color Maximite 2!
Thanks for the help regarding this issue.
