Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Lots of hits with a Google search but this is the manufacturers site:
http://www.wireless-tag.com/portfolio/wt32-eth01/

All the other hits are based on press releases and not a lot of genuine usage reports.

"WT32-ETH01 is an embedded serial port to Ethernet module designed by Wireless-tag company based on the ESP32 chipset."

It has the lot: WiFi, Ethernet, Bluetooth and serial,

It is also cheap.

Sounds good so I gave it a a try. I really do prefer wired internet where possible.
The datasheet refers you to the ESP AT command documents but most of the commands don't work.
It is impossible to work out how to drive it effectively.
I can connect to a host but not able to get it into pass-through mode and command mode seems to get stuck in a self inflicted echo loop.

A search of the net reveals that I am not alone.

I expect that eventually someone smarter than me (easy enough to find) will work it out but for now, I have retreated to the ESP8266 running zimodem and PRi's running ser2net.

I bet the Adafruit Ethernet FeatherWing might be a good fit.
