By more than going to MODE 8 ?
I would like to use an available small monitor .....

OPTION EDIT FONT SMALL | NORMAL | MEDIUM | LARGE


For V5.07 beta 11, Peter says:
  Quote  I've added a new edit font OPTION EDIT FONT VERY LARGE for use with high resolution modes

What resolution are you running? The issue is that with the very large font the status line is too long and is wrapping

800 x 600
The monitor adjusts itself ( if I understand it )
If I use MODE to change resolutions ( the monitor does follow )
when I do FILES or EDIT it switches back to 800 x 600 .....
