I downloaded some icons from https://openweathermap.org and cut and pasted them into a single bmp, and downloaded to my F4 to make sprites (blit buffers). When displayed, the grey areas indicating clouds display as white. I went back to the PC and reduced the color depth to 24 bits in PaintshopPro, saved it and downloaded it, but the clouds still show up white. What do I need to do to get them to show up as grey? (I've converted to png so I could upload to the forum.) ![]() PicoMite, Armmite F4, SensorKits, MMBasic Hardware, Games, etc. on fruitoftheshed |

Make the gray darker. Visit Vegipete's *Mite Library for cool programs. |

In your paint program of choice load them and flood fill with a different color. Even windows paint can do it. |

Windows paint Edit colours to select a suitable colour Use the fill tool - image of paint pot being poured. Click in each cloud and the cloud changes to the selected colour. Paint has an undo feature so it is safe to play around. I don't bother with the newer versions - they look too kiddified for me. Jim VK7JH MMedit |

Thanks. I'll try it, rather than just using yours. PicoMite, Armmite F4, SensorKits, MMBasic Hardware, Games, etc. on fruitoftheshed |

I also changed the sun to yellow rather than red. Much better. And learned a new technique. Thanks again, Jim. PicoMite, Armmite F4, SensorKits, MMBasic Hardware, Games, etc. on fruitoftheshed |
