Hi folks (Peter),

Just started up the "Welcome Tape" for the first time in several beta firmware updates and when it transistions from the splash-screen -> main menu, or from the credits -> main menu then the mp3 track does not continue smoothly, but instead "judders" for a second before settling back down.

Can anyone running a recent beta firmware confirm this?

Any thoughts as to the reason?

I didn't get any answers to this, but seems to be working fine again this morning. I wasn't using my usual CMM2 power arrangment when I observed this, so perhaps that was the issue?

I did check it and couldn't find an issue so didn't respond as no-one else was reporting problems

The problem started again, and further investigation revealed it was caused by a SAVE IMAGE call occurring whilst the MP3 was playing - I added the former to my working copy of the menu code in order to grab a screenshot to include on CMM2.fun.

I don't know whether you want to consider not being able to SAVE IMAGE and PLAY MP3 at the same time a bug or not, doesn't bother me now I know about the limitation.
