I have the Wi-Fi module installed but have no idea how to connect the CMM2 Gen 2 to a Wi-Fi network or even a terminal program running on a PC over Wi-Fi. I know how to open COM2: on the CMM2 but that's it. Also, the manual alludes to available firmware to let the Wi-Fi module run as a console port but doesn't specify where to get it or how to do it. Does anyone have any examples of any of the above? Thanks! EDIT--- Senior moment! I had forgotten that I already asked this question before. If you answered in that thread, please ignore this one! ![]() OK, I can see that there is firmware out there that makes it much easier to connect to the Internet or at least a WiFi router. Now my question is: Can I program the ESP-01 once it's soldered into the Gen 2 CMM2? If so how do I connect to it do do that? Edited 2021-08-07 14:22 by toml_12953 |
