Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Forum Index : Microcontroller and PC projects : ESP-01 Socket. What is it called?

I'm looking for an 8-pin socket for my CMM2 Gen 2 in order to plug in an ESP-01 into the main board rather than solder it in. I can find DIP sockets but those won't work. Exactly what are the sockets called? I see they're also used on ESP-01 programmers but I can't find them separately.

That's what I was trying to think of. I found some 2x4 pin headers which will work just fine. Thank you!
