Hi folks, I'm just doing a fix or two to "The Welcome Tape" to ensure compatibility with the upcoming 5.07.01 firmware. I don't supposed there is anyone running 5.07.00 who has a copy of "The Welcome Tape 1.0.0" and could run up the "Mandelbrot Explorer" program and post a screen-shot (or even blury photo) of the Intro/Help page ? My CMM2's are all now running the RC1 firmware and I'm strapped for time and could do without having to wind one of them back. To ensure compatibility with the new 5.07.01 firmware here is an updated version of "The Welcome Tape": https://github.com/thwill1000/cmm2-welcome/releases/tag/release-1.0.1 ChangeLog --------- Version 1.0.1 - 16-Aug-2021: - For firmware 5.07.00 or later. - This is a maintenance release, it contains the same catalogue of programs as Version 1.0.0. - Fixed crash when trying to show the menu's "Credits" page with firmware 5.07.01. - Updated "Mandelbrot Explorer" to version 1.4.1 - fixed bug on help/intro screen where image partially covered the instructions for using the mouse. - updated mouse support; if OPTION MOUSE is set then PS/2 or Hobbytronics mouse should work as configured. - updated so that {Esc} and {B} keys now return user to the help/intro screen Best wishes, Tom Edited 2021-08-17 08:11 by thwill MMBasic for Linux, Game*Mite, CMM2 Welcome Tape, Creaky old text adventures |
