Hi folks,

I got this in my care package from @lew247

but it came without an aerial. Is it possible/easy to bodge something together purely for "play" purposes or should I just order a new module?

Best wishes,

Tom

The uBlox modules are nice ones.

You should be able to source an active antenna for it easily enough.
search your preferred site for "GPS Ceramic Antenna"

G'Day Tom & Jim

Not long ago I chucked 20 into the bin. I had ordered 20 systems from Ali Express and none worked. It turned out to be the antennas, so I have 20 boards just like yours.
The moral is, be careful. Good luck.

Hi Lewis,

Unfortunately it doesn't seem to have made the trip, I even went through my workshop bin to see if I had discarded it accidentally. I think if I had found it originally I would have included it in that post I made about "unidentified items" ... though I have to say it does also look somewhat familiar . Nevermind, I guess I'll have to source a new one.

Thanks to everyone,

Tom
