I was bored again this week and still can't get my animated sprite routines to work to my satisfaction so the 'big' game has been put on the boiler yet again! So I did the next best thing and threw together another little text based programme. This one will find a world with minimal letter clues - eg as in a crossword. Words can be from 3-20 characters and the library has over 650,000 words and phrases to search through. I know this has been done on almost all computer systems... and there are numerous sites on the net that do a similar job..... but hey, this is keeping me as sane as I can be. Hopefully someone will find this useful at least one occasion! Here's a few little screen shots and the file.... ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (some weird words in that lot, but blame the Times Crosswords!) I updated the file just before uploading the pics - the letter count for the search is now shown on the screen. NoClue.zip eEjoy, Goksteroo |
