Hi Gurus, As a change from the Micromites I've successfully used in the past, I've just received a PicoMite to play with and I now have it working quite nicely via some simple programming with TeraTerm. If my understand is correct, I assume MMEDIT may also be used so I thought I'd give it a try but no joy. The version of MMEDIT I'm using is V4.1.4 on WIN10 and it appears to connect to the PicoMite via USB but I get no CR prompt response with MMChat. If I disconnect and then reconnect I do get the > prompt appear in the output window but still no response using the MMChat command line. With my Micromite programming, I like using MMEDIT and it would be good if I can also use this with the PicoMite. So, any help you can offer would be much appreciated. ![]() |

You may have MM.Edit still set for Micromite you have to set it for Armmite H7. "It is better to be ignorant and ask a stupid question than to be plain Stupid and not ask at all" |

That is the correct answer. The pico needs DTR asserted and that is what the new DLL does. My website was updated mid-December. Jim Edited 2022-02-16 06:27 by TassyJim VK7JH MMedit |

Guys, As you kindly advised, I've now updated to the latest MMEDIT version V4.1.4 OS10 8-12-2021 and set it to Picomite. MMEDIT is now working very well with my PicoMite which is great. Thankyou all. ![]() Edited 2022-02-18 15:37 by Gillis55 |
