Notice. New forum software under development. It's going to miss a few functions and look a bit ugly for a while, but I'm working on it full time now as the old forum was too unstable. Couple days, all good. If you notice any issues, please contact me.

Two different PicoMites have given me the following, after leaving them overnight. This is with MMEdit V5...The "disconnected" and "connected" is my doing, to be sure that the USB was still OK.
Any ideas?

Device G: is referring to a drive letter G:
The drive has been removed or inserted or changed in some other way. Or at least, that's what Windows thinks.
Could be going to sleep?

I also notice that you haven't selected a device (box to the left of the com port) and a baud rate although that's not normally significant with the pico.

Oh, drive G: is my Google Drive but nothing to do with what I'm doing. Good news though, Jim. Many thanks.

The selection boxes definitely had something in them to start with....dunno where they went

Knowing when drive letters change is only useful when you drop a *.uf2 file on it to update the firmware.

I will change it to only print the change during that update process.

No sweat, Jim. I just leave stuff cooking to be sure of reliability. This clearly is only PC related

Loving MMEdit
