Anyone make any sense of the USB bit?

Says he is changing clock speed every time he want to use USB - pretty stupid IMHO

But if we don't care about USB and we redirect the console to a COM port?

I always come up with this stuff when I'm unable to test (Pico just went up in a puff of white smoke  )

Maybe with liquid cooling.....
No white smoke... but steam....

I've had the worst weekend...I hereby confirm that 24V on the Pico's 3V3 does not result in a satisfactory ending. Unless you like white smoke.

Same thing is true when you push more than 2A through the L298. 18200 is far more forgiving...it simply shuts down.

Ouch....    
Smoke makes things work. When the smoke gets out, it stops!
